I purchased my wagmans 16 inch relaxed straight on Tuesday and received it today! I love wagmans. So far my past purchases from them have been great and they are always so helpful on the phone. I live in Connecticut and Wagmans is in PA so im pretty sure thats why it takes less than a day to get here. Going for my install tonight will post pics later! =)

Hey everyone ..one more time..Im sorry I havnt been posting I have alot going on and Im excited to say Im doing a few things that Im proud of :) I'm on a new health kick..trying to eat healthy and I have been at the gym everyday! so far I lost 5 Pounds! Im very proud of that! I also have a great job at Toyota now. Much better than the old job >_< . My boyfriend and I are moving in together next week ( super excited about seeing his handsome face every morning and night )

I am also starting my healthy hair journey! no more relaxers and not to much heat! I will be taking much better care of my hair to help it grow..my goal is to be about WL (waist length) in about 2 and half years ..I know it does seem like a long time (it is -_-) but I think in the end it will be worth it.

So thats just a quick update on me and my life and whats going on! I am going to try to be on more often! with updates and pictures and all the fun stuffffff!

Will you be SPENT? This post is pretty serious. While I was watching the news on my laptop I heard a story about how there a thousands of homeless people in America and Millions without jobs. One of the women began to explain about this "game" that is free to play online called SPENT. (which you can try here) PLAY SPENT . What the game is, is a simulator into what life would be like living paycheck to paycheck like many Americans are doing today and having to make choices for your child, grocery shopping,health bills and many more everyday choices!

The game also give you many facts along the way of how many people are actually living today. The object of the game is to see if you can get through a month without becoming broke or missing your bills. I made it to the end of the month with $397 but I still needed an $800 root canal that I could not afford. Its decisions like theses that so many people actual have to make everyday that give you a real perspective into what life is like when you have to struggle. Please try the game and see if you can make it to the end of the month or will you become homeless with no money...

Let me know how you did! how much money did you have left over? How many days could you get through?

I need better habits

So I have been up since 12:00 in the afternoon yesterday!! I also have work at 11:00am today (dont ask me how I will make it through I have no idea! I have been laying in bed with my eyes closed for 5 hours and that is not working> I need to get myself into the habit of eating better exercise and sleeping at the same time every night!. I think that's going to be my new goal. I don't know how much longer I can take my crazy sleep patterns!

my goals
-stop drinking soda >_<
-sleep at the same time every night
-start getting in some exercise a few days a week
-lose about 45 pounds(not because I think I'm fat but I could use it)

hopfully I can successfully do all these things I wont give myself a time frame i feel that puts stress on top of it!

lets see if I can get in a small (very small) nap before I go to work at 11!

Can I get a chair?

Ok so at my job I stand..ALLLL day. sometimes for 10 hours straight. Now standing for long periods of time cant be good for your feet. I sadly found out its not good for mine =( my poor foot was bleeding because of all the pressure I put on it everyday(according to my Dr.) Now im at a point where i put all my weight on my other foot because I cant take the pain anymore! ahhh I just want a stool or something yeesh =(..

Anywhooo my job search continues in ATL! my future roomie and friend who is already there has our 2 bedroom apartment set up..only thing missing is me =( I think I sent my resume out about 60 times in the past 2 weeks maybe more >_< but I have been using my future address where my friend is now so hopefully that will help some. I have my fingers and toes crossed that I will find something soon because all this snow in Connecticut is starting to really be depressing!

Moving on

I think my move to ATL is back on ...lol for the 5th time! Alot of things have put my move on hold. work money school all that fun stuff. But as the weeks and months have gone by It keeps making me realize that Atlanta is where I want to be. I have done my research and been there plenty of times so its not just a all the sudden thing =) a friend of mine recently moved into a nice two bedroom two bath by herself and pretty much told me the other room is mine when ever I find a job! wooo! only problem is..No one wants to hire you when you live 900 miles away -_- so i got rid of my address on my resume and we will see how that turns out.I think I sent my resume to about 5o+ places so fingers and toes crossed that it works out!

Until then im working at the same boring restaurant but thankful that I have a place to work! ^_^
oh and side note! It's our 8 month anniversary !

Joel my former bff is my boyfriend. we met through a mutual friend and became friends so quick and eventually it turned in our lovely relationship we have today =)
I have never been treated so well before I love him!

Ok so finally im getting back to blogging like normal again! I'm so sorry ! I have been busy with work and making crazy life choices =) My first announcement is that Im not moving to ATL I will be going to school in CT and I'm going for nursing..Right now I'm going for my LPN to get started =D I'm very excited to be doing something finally other than just going to work everyday! yeesh it was getting boring -_- I have a great boyfriend who happens to be my best friend..which let me tell you makes a relationship so much better!

I know I have been M.I.A but my mommy had her knee replaced! (ouch!) my mom is my rock and my everything so when shes going through something I am rightttt there by her side! so thats where I have been for the past few weeks!

I also..(wait for it!!!) dyed my hair today ^_^ my hair is a dark dark brown and it doesnt take to color especially store bought color..but today I purchased Garnier light golden brown..it may sound extreme for my hair but all it did was gave me a redish slightly lighter brown =) which works for me!

compared to my old dark hair Boooo!
I had to take the pic all bent down and weird cause you can really only see the color in the light!

Told yall I'm makeup shop happy lately! Today I grabbed this Wet n Wild combination eyeliner and eyeshadow. Now I don't know if it's just the one I bought but the eyeshadow literally broke off when I took the cap off!. That made me a little upset but it still works ^_^

This is the eyeshadow end of the stick(that was broken)

And this is the Eyeliner end..that I LOVE! it goes on very smooth exactly how I like it!

all in all its a great product my only con was that it was broken when I got it >:(

Mini Makeup and Hair Haul =D

This is my first makeup haul wooot! soak it allll in ! ok now lets start..today I was giving myself a relaxer to straighten my hair how I like it and I stopped in this little beauty supply store in Hamden CT which is about 15 mins from my town. It's a great store for makeup, hair and other little accessories. I got a little shop happy and bought some hair extensions (and im going to show you how to make your own clip ins it's cheaper than buying them pre made) and more lashes and a few eye shadows!

The top is Maybelline Colossal mascara ...which I got in brown by accident but it's ok I still like it. Underneath the mascara is the Eyeshadow I just talked about. Below the mini pallet is a duo eyeshadow of a nice mocha and cream color. And my 2.99 Lashes hehe =D

Small gifts for myself =)

To start off I never really buy my self much but lately I cant help it. Everything I see I want lol! So after work today I made a Walmart run to grab some things for dinner(it's one of those super walmarts that's a grocery store too) and I got a my first eyelash curler believe it or not. I also got some new falsies =D

These pictures came out pretty good considering I used my iPhone! This Eyelash curler made by Trim who makes great products a decent low prices..this curler ran me about 2 dollars and it works great!

These lashes are pretty good..I tried them for the first time today..they are made by Salon Perfect. Personally I probably wont buy them again but they are still decent. These cost about 3 change.

I also got a very cute shirt at Walmart but I'm going to save that for another post!

I'm sitting in my bed sick as ever right now =( but! i'm watching the Tyra show and got inspired! Tyra has a campaign going on called B.I.O = Beauty Inside & Out. I'm still currently watching the episode but I had to start writing now!! What Tyra is doing is a great thing..She is reaching out to the media and the world to say that NO MATTER WHAT YOU LOOK LIKE YOU SHOULD BE ACCEPTED! we need to learn to embrace who we are no matter our size,color,height,shoe size,weave length ..lol you get the picture!

Personally If you have ever read any of my previous post you would know I'm pretty different but in a good way lol. I'm 5'11 and 1/2 I wear a size 11 shoe..I'm a little thick, I don't have perfect skin my hair can be nappy! I'm half African American, part Italian and part Irish wheeew that's alot!

Wooot Costal Scents 88 Palette! =) I have seen and heard great things so I sprung into action and now I have one all for myself
I got it in about 5 days not to bad if you ask me..it came shipped nicely in bubble wrap and came in perfect condition!

Hand Sanitizer isnt just for germs!

As we all know Hand sanitizer cleans your hands of nasty little germs..but did you know it also can be used for something else?? I was painting my room one day (like really painting...changing the wall color lol no finger paints! ) and i got a hugeee glop of glue on my favorite jeans! ...why I was wearing my favorite jeans to paint..I don't know either either!

ANYWAY! I didn't even notice till after the paint had dried..I tried everything to get it out water, soap, washer, shampoo(lol) everything!..so One day I was wearing the jeans in my house and I spilled my sanitizer on the jeans and it rolled down to where the paint was..and you know what else started rolling off?? THE PAINT!! I was so excited I got a towel and took my sanitizer and did the rest and I was able to wear my fave jeans again!!

One little tip that I hope helps you guys and girls out if your ever in a jam..(or paint ^_^ )

Love hate life and friendship all rolled into one

Hey everyone..I felt the need to write this because I had some drama go on this evening..Something I said via twitter was read by someone and this person thought it was about them...now most of you don't know me but I don't talk about people behind their backs. If i really have something to say I would say it..AND THAT'S THE TRUTH! This is the second time that someone has claimed I was talking ish about them and I wasn't and it was someone i was good friends with, and the same with this story that also wasn't true..someone who is a friend to me is someone I would never talk about..but it does make me feel bad that someone really thought I was talking about them when its something I wouldn't do..

OK to end the rant and make a long story short! People should really check into things before they assume someone is talking about them..Both times I was not talking about either of these people but they jumped to conclusions and thought i was ..just know that I cherish my friendships because you only have so many friends you can rely on ...just some thought in my head

thank you to all my followers..I would rather have 30 great followers than a 800000 fake ones! I love each and everyone of you and all of your blogs..thank you for putting in the time to write things that I and others appreciate!!

Hey Dolls!! So it's getting pretty cold and one thing that I love Love LOVE! are boots! and as you may or may not know I stand at a very tall 5'11 :) and that lovely height also comes with some pretty big feet lol I admit it! I wear size 11 shoes!! ahh so anyway! it is extremely hard to find size 11 anythingggg! let alone what I want which is a flat over the knee or at least to the knee boot! so I searched the web and I found a few that I like so far..

these are from Piperline they fold up to make them even taller which I love

These bad boys are from Endless I like them but I dont know how I feel about the bedazzled top lol

and these lovely booties are from Chinese Laundry I love these and they are also leather which is great !

sad but true it took me hours justtt to find these 3! But I will never give up when it comes to looking cute hehe... And to all my tall Dolls! don't give up we shall overcome haha ok i'm done..but really don't give up..If you look hard enough you can always find something for your tall selves!!

The cold weather is arriving =( saddd sad sad but i Love this time of year perfect cuddle weather! ^_^ one of my faveee things to wear during the cold weather are thermals or "waffle shirts...I have one on right now!! I get mine at Aerie and I love them they are sooo comfy and warm and usually wear them under other shirts :)

I also love them because as you may or may not knowwww im all extra tall hehe soo the sleeves are really long and so are the shirts themselves! Last year mine were only 12.95 but now they are 24.95 but I would still buy more! I have my pink one on now and its keeping me nice and cozy especially because im really sick =( but I hope you girls go out and get some they are great!!

IN LOVE!! Now that its fall the weather is getting cooler and its nice to have someone to cuddle up to! =) So If felt the need and want to share with my followers a little something about me! So I have been in a few long term kind of relationships and even tho im only 19 I have always had a more mature state of mind when it comes to relationships. I never wanted to just hook up or mess around if you know what i mean lol! I always have wanted that long term are you husband material relationship ha ha! SOooo and this is a true story! =) I met this guy via the internet (before you think anything keeeeep reading lol) so we met online and got to know each other through im's text web camming with each other the whole 9 yards! I had to make sure who I was talking to was ...well who i was talking to lol..
So we finally met and of course i was smart and we met in a public place and all that..but we hit it off extremely well..we talked for a whole YEAR before we even met(talk about getting to know someone!!) And I cant even tell you all how glad I am that we talked so long because it really gave us a chance to get to know each other...so LONG story short we have been talking every single day for the past 6 months and its hard because we live in different cities but...I think if something is meant to be then it will BE. With him I get that feeling that I havnt had with anyone else..the feeling that it just is perfect! =) ok now that I shared my love story lol do you dolls have any opinions on internet dating or meeting or just dating in general?? feel free to share your own story ^_^

Hey dolls! I dont know how many of you know but I am a very tall women lol... I stand at a lovely 5'11...and a half lol and need about a 36" to a 38" inseam for my pants =(... sad face because (and if your tall you understand) not that many stores carry jeans with that long of an inseam!! =( so a few weeks ago I ordered some jeans online which I would say is kind of risky because you never know how different brands will fit. My main problem is not them fitting more if they will be long enough! SOooo I ordered a few pairs and OMG =) they go way past my feet hehe I love it ^_^ I ordered them from ALLOY and I will definitely be buying more! I also ordered a cute little peacoat from Alloy!! If your a tall lady like myself please check out the site you can chose how long your inseam is

ok well I don't have a new home yet!! but I'm working on it...So i was accepted into the school I want to go to but the housing the offer isn't in the best area of Atlanta...so I'm looking for apartments! I found a few that I like and I think my mom and I are going to go down to check them out..after the unfortunate flood that they had. Apartments there are very nice and also cheap! which I love =) and I already have 2 job offers which is also a plus!! so as long as you ladies and gents don't steal my apartments I might show them to you ;) anyway just a small little update!!

Oh my gosh soooo I'm back from my trip to ATL and it was amazing...I got to spend time with my honey which was great he made me a nice dinner and we got to just relax! =) I was also able to get some things done for school and believe it or not I have to be back in like a week and a half =) My mom and dad are gonna drive me down and hopefully I will be ready by then..probably not but please check back for more updates and tips and tricksOn the way to ATL

Why I Love Atlanta

Hey ladies and Gents!! I wanted to do a post On why I really love Atlanta. Everyone always ask me why I want to move to ATL all the way from Connecticut so I thought to myself you know what I'll write a nice blog post explaining everything! To start off I was born in the south (North Carolina) so the South is where my heart is. If you live in CT or the tri state area..or even any where up north and you have been down south, the one big difference you will see is peoples attitudes! People down south are so polite and just genuinely nice. BUTTTT anyway back to why I love Atlanta. Atlanta is a great growing city that has so much to offer here are some photos from when I went to Atlanta

On the Move to ATL pt 2

Ok so as you know I am preparing a move to Atlanta. And im sure if any of you are moving or have moved before you have plenty of obligations at home..like car payments(like myself) or rent, food, ect.. So my first savings tip I can give you all is to cut down on the morning coffee run to Starbucks and Dunkin donuts. You can save money by bringing your own coffee from home or even a homemade muffin or bagels! Believe me cutting down on even that small amount of money like 4 dollars a day can save you tons of money.. think about it 4 dollars a day for a month thats... a little over a hundred dollars =D So if your saving to move im sure and extra $100 a month will help!!

As I write this blog I am sitting here with my Listerine Whitening strips that self dissolve. Now I used to have braces when I was in middle school and I pretty White teeth...Now once I got them off..my teeth changed for the worse!!!! but ever since I had gotten them off I have tried sooo many whitening strips toothpastes and everything else you can think of. for the past few weeks I have been using the Listerine self dissolving strips and they work great probably the best ones I have ever used! ...the only downside is that the taste absolutely horrrrrid!!!! omg i have to keep a bottle of water next to me all the time ew! but other than that I have to say I love them! SO if you dont mind that taste please try them

On the move to ATL pt 1

So as most of you know I am planning on a big move. I have been to Georgia a few time and the first place I went to was Savannah. Now if you have never been there you should really try to go I mean its just beautiful!! From the historic house to the parks just everything makes it a great place to visit.

Now even tho I loved Savannah my move is not going to be there. ATLANTA!!! is where my heart is. I was born down south and I feel like that is where I BELONG! I love the whole idea of a city lifestyle and I have big plans for my life anyway once im down there!!!

so around october I "SHOULD" be all moved in and in school and all that jazz!! so please stay tuned for all my tips and how to save when moving and everything you should have when you move so far away from home! <3

Sadly Michael Jackson passed away today June 25, 2009 at the age of 50. He died of cardiac arrest . He was said to have stopped breathing while in his home and a member of his staff call 911. He was pronounced dead before he even arrived at the hospital. He was and still is one of musics biggest influences and will be deeply missed by many..

heyy Everyone :) I have been kind of busy lately with work and everything and taking care of my new car =) however I did make time for myself to go to the hairdresser to treat this lovely head of mine to something nice lol. My new hair stylist Hector is so wonderful!! I love him lol. What hes going to be doing to my hair is called 'Keratin Hair Treatment'.(a.k.a. the Brazilian hair treatment) What it does is basically change the texture of your hair to make it more manageable and lord knows I need that lol. So I did some research and it seems to work very well for people that have got it done. So look out world I have made my Appointment and I will be silky Smooth soon :)

The vid is about Sean Bell who was shot 50 times by the police even tho he had done nothing wrong nor was he doing anything to provoke the police. So I decided my blackberry wants to go back to the Verizon store. It must miss it there because that's were its going tomorrow =) I think I'm gonna get the lg Versa. Its a really cute phone. It has a full touch screen and the best part is it has a detachable qwerty keyboard! :) I love it!!
The qwerty keyboard comes with the phone and its a cute little leathery kind of case. Its FAB and I love it...till next time loves!

Sooo I havn't posted alot lately because I have been so busy with work and just life in general. I work nonstop and I never have any days off but i guess its not that bad ..i'm getting money lol =) I also just moved and that has been crazyyyy but I love my new house. Sooo Im a little bored today and I dont have to go to work until 6 =) sooooo i figured heyyy why not take pictures of my self!! lol The only thing that gets on my nerves is that I feel I have the worst webcam! The quality of it is just terrible =( I might invest in getting a new one becuase this one drives me NUTSSS!!! SO heres me =)

Soooo I have a new job =) which is reallllly exciting to me because I Have Been looking for a job for MONTHSSSS!!!! im not gonna say where cuz I dont know whooo might come and find me lol but its a nice job haha the only bad thing is i work EVERY SINGLE DAY!!! =[ but its ok hard work pays off...literalllllly!!!

So its been a few days and Im a little bored right now so I figured I would make a new post. For anyone who even bothers to watch reality tv anymore this clip is from for the love of Ray J.. same old 40 girls on a show prancing around doing worthless things for the attention of a celeb.. Well one of the girls, Danger, told all of ray j's friends how she "smashed" (had sex with) 2 of his friends!!! Welll all I really have to say is that who ever wrote in my shout box..thank you!!!! it really made me laugh.. Its 8:00 am and i dont know whyyy on earth I'm awake right now!!!!! But since I'm up I feel like talking about men...or maybe I should call them boys!!.. I cant stand when guys play games ..especially when your supposed to be at an adult age I dont know it just gets old after a while...I might become a nun so I dont have to deal with men anymore so I guess my question is...ARE THERE ANY REALLLL MEN OUT THERE STILL?! Soooo since I went to Atlanta and basically ate out every night...I feel the need to do a small food review!!! So the first day I was in Atlanta I went to Wolfgang Pucks restaurant.

I honestly expected the food to be really good but it wasn’t all that great! I had raviolis but they were spicy…and COLD!!!! So to some up my experience there it wasn’t worth the money at ALL!!! The next day I went to the Hard rock Café.

I loved it there the food was great and so was the service! I had steak with mashed potatoes and veggies =) I would definitely recommend going there. The atmosphere is great they play music and it’s just a lot of fun. The night before I left to come back home I went to a Restaurant called Shout.

Now the food here was okkk…I don’t know if I would really recommend it. My waiter was a complete jerk he told my mother and I how he had an alcohol problem and I mean I’m sorry for you but that’s not something you just go out and tell people…but that’s beside the point. The food was ok… I just had some pizza because everything else on the menu was just odd…and for the price you would expect something much better

Theres nothing like home =] I feel like no matter where you go or how much you loved a place nothing can compare to just being at home!!! I left Atlanta so latee we waited on the runway for like 40 mins..but somehow we still got to New York on time?? lol oh well. The weather was soo depressing in ATL yesterday and today... nothing but rain =[ but as soon as I got home it was nice and warm!! Well its good to be home and in my own bed =] until next time...
